Mrs. Mary Ann Linn, 83, wife of John W. Linn, died Thursday at her home, 611 East Wabash Avenue, this city, following an illness of four months’ duration. Born Feb.1, 1853, in Walnut township, Montgomery county, Ind., Mrs. Linn was the daughter of James Mills and Margaret Ann Martin. She was married April 10, 1873, and would have completed 68 years of married life had she lived until next Thursday. The deceased was a member of the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church. Surviving, in addition to the husband, are four children, Bert M. Linn of Mace, Charles W. Linn of New Ross, Walter H. Linn of Crawfordsville and Laila E. Linn of Chicago. One daughter, Nellie E. Manges, preceded her mother in death. Private funeral services for relatives and neighbors will be conducted Saturday afternoon at the Linn residence. The rites will be in charge of Rev. R. G. Rieman.
